Apple Fitness+ Now Available For Apple Watch Users

Apple Fitness+ just arrived for the Apple Watch users. The service was first announced by Apple back in its September Event alongside the new Apple Watch and iPad launch. Apple Fitness+ is available with iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2. It offers up to 180 workouts across 10 different categories.

What is Apple Fitness+?

Fitness+ is the first fitness experience to be built for the Apple Watch and other Apple devices. It includes studio-style workouts on other devices like iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Fitness+ brings key workout metrics from Apple Watch to its other devices and intelligently incorporates it seamlessly in the app.

It offers a workout for everyone from a team of charismatic, celebrated, and passionate trainers. These trainers will be specialized in their respective fields. Apple is calling Fitness+’s service the ‘next era of fitness’ and inviting everyone to join. It is offering 10 different workout types, each with a distinguished trainer, namely:

These activities will be accompanied by music from today’s top artists. The playlists will be chosen specifically for each workout to keep users motivated.

How to use Apple Fitness+?

It is integrated with Apple Watch and combines the ease of discovering great workouts for all ability levels. It is available on Apple Watch Series 3 or later paired with an iPhone 6s or later. To set up the Fitness+ app, open the Fitness app, and tap the Fitness+ tab at the bottom. Select a plan or free-trial from the given options to begin your subscription.

Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for $9.99 a month or $79.99 per year. The service is also included in the Apple One Premier Plan, costing $29.95 per month. This Apple One Plan includes access to Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and 2TB of iCloud storage. You can also share this plan with up to six family members.
