2Do itself doesn’t support collaborative tasks but if you’re syncing via iCloud and one of you shares their list with the other using the iCloud Share List feature (log into iCloud, click on Reminders, and then the little share button next to the list name). However, checklists and projects will sync as ‘flattened normal tasks’ as Shared lists don’t support metadata 2Do otherwise requires to sync across.
- What is a scheduled task?
Some people think in terms of Start Dates for their tasks instead of due dates or even both at the same time. The Scheduled list filters out and displays all tasks from the various lists that have a start date set to some time in the future. This allows you to plan ahead, or simply get a good overview of what you need to be thinking about next.
- Can I hide unwanted lists?
2Do lets you hide unwanted lists so these don’t appear in the listing on the sidebar.
You might want to do this if, say, you don’t want to see one of the built-in Focus lists all the time (such as Scheduled), or if you specifically want to hide a list from prying eyes.
To hide a list, follow these instructions:
- From the menu 2Do > Preferences… click on Security and then Privacy.
- Click on Click the lock to make changes to authenticate yourself.
- Check the lists you don’t want to see on the sidebar
If you’re syncing using the Dropbox option, this setting will sync across other devices as well.
