Future Fit, a workout coaching app, has successfully raised another round of investments. It received $24 million as a Series B funding. Future has strongly acquired customers with a monthly subscription of $150. This monthly subscription will provide users with virtual coaching. The app virtually teams users with a real-life fitness coach.
Amid the restrictions and healthcare guidelines of the COVID-era has limited many individuals’ routine. As social distancing is the new norm, many have reservations about the idea of continuing with their workout. Fortunately, users can get the benefit of fitness apps like Future. Its virtual fitness-coaching is helping gym-goers, personal, and real-life training plans each week.
Rishi Mandal, CEO of Future, aims to make big of the health-tracking capabilities of smart-wearables – like Apple Watch. Future also wants a platform that provides motivation, accountability, and fitness insights.
Earlier findings and expansions
It received a Series A funding from Kleiner Perkins some 18 months back. And recently it raised another $24 million from Series B investments. The Series B was funded by Trustbridge Partners, Caffeinated Capital, and Kleiner Perkins. Future has members across 40 states with the vision to expand further.
Rishi reported that the company’s growth rate has tripled as gyms across the world closed its doors. On average, members exercised about 14 times for over 41 minutes. It is able to keep the workouts interesting and goal-oriented. Also, over 80% of users have sustained it for over 6 months, marking its retention rate highest among competitors.
Future provides a platform and technology that enables coaches to serve a wide variety of people. They could make a real-world impact by guiding them through workouts. Also, the ability to provide a personalized training plan improves the results. Future helps coaches to build the right plans, workout sessions for each individual. It enables them to monitor progress, motivate users, and hold accountable to their goals.

The $149 per month plan, provided by Future aims at users who wished for getting a personal trainer but are not ready to make an investment.
