Tez is a new payments app by Google
Tez Pay Google App uses NPCI’s (National Payments Corporation of India) Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to make payments, transfers to your friends and family or to the merchants around you.
Some of the features of the app are:
– Transfer directly to your bank account. Simply link your account to Tez over UPI and instantly transfer money from bank to bank.
– Know your money is secure. With Google’s multi-layered security and 24/7 protection by Tez Shield, you can make payments and transfer amounts both big and small, with confidence.
– With Tez’s Cash Mode, you can instantly send or receive payments to anyone nearby without sharing personal details like your phone number or bank account.
App Store Reviews and download stats
Tez app was recently launched and it is interesting to note in less than a year it has crossed a 5 million download mark which is a decent feat in itself. However, it will be interesting to know what is the usage stats of the app. For that we will have to wait and watch Googles announcements on Tez app.
