Multiple Google services went down for an hour, on Monday evening. It suffered a major outage in India and several parts of the world. Services like YouTube, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Hangouts, and Assistant were unavailable.
Google has recently acknowledged the outage of its services around the globe. The company said on its status page that “it is aware of the problem affecting a majority of users.” Downdetector is a website that keeps records of web outages. It reported about 40,000 outage cases from around the world, just after 10 minutes of the outage.

One of the Google services is Gmail, where the affected users were unable to access their mails. The same error message was displayed on all the other services, against which a red dot was shown. Recently, Google’s status page showed a green dot for all of the services, which was just after the outage began. For some users, Google Search seems to be working fine while some reported that even Google Search was not working.
