Fitbit was one of the first major companies focusing on Health and Fitness. And invented a whole new Category of Technology Business combining users and gadgets for a better purpose.
Apple was quick to see the benefits of developing a product specifically for the Ever-growing Fitness industry. Apple released the Apple Watch back in 2015. The Nascent Apple Watch was quick to become one of the best selling watches in the world.
The Other Side
Many people (including myself) still wear a traditional watch and would like to spend more on a Quality Swiss Timepiece rather than a Tech Gadgets that is going to be Obsolete in a couple of years down the road.
Design
Apple Watch Fit is a compact and affordable alternative to the full-blown Apple Watch or Apple Watch LTE. The Watch Fit is almost similar to the Fitbit Charge, but the Fitbit Does not work properly on iPhone and has way less functionality than an Apple Watch.
Due to its compact size, a traditional watch wearer can wear his watch along with the Fitbit Apple Watch, without feeling awkward about wearing two watches.
Advantages
Apple-designed the watchOS to run on a smaller display so therefore a narrower display would be perfectly fine except for some apps such as Maps. But Fitness focused apps such as Workout, Activity, Sleep, Breathe could all look similar or even better on the narrower display.
Apple also announced Fitness+ a subscription service. As Apple Watch Fit starting at $149 or $99 could make it accessible to people that cannot spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on Fitness Equipments.
Also, Apple Fitness+ works synchronously with Apple Music. So Apple Watch Fit can boost subscriptions for Apple Music and Airpods sale. Apple could also include a Free Premier Apple One subscription and could charge $29/month for Apple One once the users are convinced with the features and ability
