The firm works with over 5,500 schools in India and the Middle East and has a huge portfolio of curricular and supplementary products.
Why is K-12 education crucial?
K-12 education is critical because it serves as the foundation for students’ futures, preparing them for higher education or assisting them in establishing a successful job. As a result, gaining a thorough knowledge of subjects throughout these early years of education is critical. And, thankfully, ed-tech firms are proving beneficial to kids in the K-12 segment, since these startups are breaking the monotony and developing creative and exciting methods to teach children.
Eupheus Learning was founded in 2017 with the objective of bringing new learning solutions from around the world to the Indian market. Their learning solutions have been chosen by industry professionals to provide a chance for India’s young to learn how to prepare for life. As a result, they are more prepared to face the world.
Eupheus Learning’s Aim
Their aim is to provide pedagogically differentiated technology-driven solutions that promote critical thinking and the attainment of higher learning outcomes in the private school portion of the Pre-K to 12 markets by seamlessly combining in-class and at-home learning. And, by smoothly integrating both, they want to bridge the gap between what is taught in class utilizing institutional textbook-driven solutions and retail at-home learning providers.
In the Pre-K-12 market, the firm provides pedagogically and level differentiated, technology-driven solutions. It seeks to deliver engaging solutions that adapt to and meet each child’s particular learning needs and speed, while also reducing educators’ effort in achieving learning objectives. While many start-ups focus primarily on math and science, Eupheus Acquisition promotes almost all disciplines, including coding, reading, and language learning. Eupheus Learning currently covers the curriculum for both the CBSE and ISCE boards.
Eupheus Learning began as a group of 40 people with strong ties to K-12 schools. Initially, the team presented its wares at schools with whom it had previous relationships. Educators were exposed to and taught the goods so that they could better comprehend the product, increasing the likelihood of adoption. Furthermore, Eupheus Learning advertised its at-home learning solutions to students who were already utilizing its in-class learning solutions and had a positive response.
“We are very delighted to collaborate with Lightrock in our ambition to become the leading player in the K12 space,” said Sarvesh Shrivastava, Co-founder and Managing Director of Eupheus Learning. With the growth of online teaching and the influence of COVID-19 on the education sector, Eupheus Learning is supporting schools in adopting a hybrid type of teaching and learning experience by offering students with 21st-century learning solutions.” He also stated that they are looking forward to working with Lightrock to provide seamless in-class and at-home learning solutions.
Eupheus Learning, founded in June 2017 by Sarvesh Shrivastava, Ved Prakash Khatri, and Amit Kapoor, has relationships with 5,500 schools and serves 4 million students. It recently launched two major contests, “National Coding Competition – Code2Win” and “Olympiad through ISFO,” with a combined total enrollment of almost 1 million pupils in India.
“The epidemic has just enhanced our argument that schools continue to be fundamental to enhancing children’s lives via education,” said Divya Venkatavaraghavan of Lightrock. Divya further stated that the unprecedented disruption of a classroom as a result of pandemic-driven digitalization provides a once-in-a-lifetime chance for schools to embrace hybrid learning methods and improve student learning results.
As schools embark on this difficult systemic endeavor, Eupheus, with its “curriculum-focused” and “classroom-first” approach, is best positioned to assist them in realizing their potential for change as a trusted partner.
Sixth Sense Ventures, which has a large minority investment in Eupheus, was the first institutional investor in the education industry with its second fund, Sixth Sense India Opportunities II. Eupheus also got money from Yuj Kutumb, who is supported by Sid Yog’s family office, the Founding Partner of a worldwide investment business, The Xander Group Inc.
Earlier this year, the firm secured $4.1 million in Series B investment for local and international development headed by Kuwait-based United Education Company (UEC) and Al Rayan Holding Company.
