Other arrivals on Stadia
The developer of Cyberpunk 2077, announced that the game will be available on Google Stadia from November 19. It will be launched simultaneously on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Thus, Stadia members will enjoy exploring the Night City the instant the game becomes available. Google had announced the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 back in August 2019. And after multiple delays, the game will be launching on November 19.
Members buying the game from Stadia Store will receive a gift of Cyberpunk themed digital goodies. It will include the game’s original score, the Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook, and Cyberpunk 2077: Your Voice comic book. It also has some art booklets and a set of wallpapers for desktop and mobile. The premium subscription of Google Stadia, Stadia Pro costs $10/month. But those who are interested in specific titles can purchase it without the monthly subscription.
Stadia has also enabled improved support for mobile data streaming i.e. from LTE/5G connections. Earlier, users have to dig deep into the app’s experimental options to play on mobile connections. Now, this feature has been shifted under the ‘Performance’ tab. But currently, 720p seems to be the only available option for mobile subscribers. That too at a 2.75GB per hour data usage. LTE signals can only deliver a decent experience and most users will eventually face a data cap while streaming. Hopefully, things may change once 5G is widely available.
