What is HeardThat app?
Sound is ubiquitous; it is a constant in our ever-changing life. We can experience delight through sounds, such as when we hear music or laughter. A location’s ambiance can be enhanced by sound: coffee machines, traffic sounds, rain pouring, and chairs shuffling.
Occasionally, it is merely background noise. In either case, sound can be an issue while we’re attempting to hold a discussion. In that instance, it obstructs our ability to hear speech and hence inhibits us from talking and connecting properly.
This makes use of the strong computing technology that is already installed on your smartphone. Since then, Singular Hearing’s team of skilled machine learning engineers and artificial intelligence professionals has been collecting and synthesizing data to train the app. As a result, the most effective solution for speech augmentation and clarity is now accessible – and it’s already in your pocket.

Frequently Asked Questions about HeardThat App:
- How much does it cost?
HeardThat is now free, and we will attempt to keep it that way as long as feasible. Eventually, a subscription pricing mechanism may be implemented, but some level of usage will always be available for free. Subscription fees for such apps are typical $10 per month or $100 per year.
- Is it compatible with my audio device?
They’ve made every effort to ensure that HeardThat works with as many devices as possible. “If you can hear phone conversations with your hearing device, you should be able to use HeardThat,” is the standard answer. - What is the best way to send feedback?
On the main screen of HeardThat, click the Feedback button. You can put a message in the area labeled Message to ask a question or report a problem. (Or shower us with praise!)
We can assist you more effectively if you include audio with your feedback. By default, the most recent session’s recording will be connected. You can listen to the audio by pressing the play button to ensure you’re using the correct one.
To submit a different recording, follow these steps:
Android: Select a new file by using the Choose new file button.
iPhone: To the right of the play button, click the “x,” then click “+.”
To send the feedback, click Send. (It will be sent via the app directly, not via email.)
Please keep in mind that if you are not connected to Wi-Fi, your feedback will be saved and uploaded later when you are. To ensure that your feedback is transmitted, launch the HeardThat app once you reconnect to Wi-Fi. Automatically, the stored feedback will be transmitted.
- Bluetooth streaming is not available on my hearing aids. Am I permitted to utilize HeardThat?
You have a few choices:
If you have sufficient hearing capabilities, you can use HeardThat with standard earbuds or headphones rather than your hearing aids.
While wearing your hearing aids, you could wear over-the-ear headphones.
If the connection box for your hearing aids includes an audio input jack, you could connect an audio wire from your phone to that box.
If your hearing aids include a telecoil (T-coil), you can pair them with a personal transmitter system.
