SS Supply Chain Solutions, commonly known as 3SC, a Gurugram-based supply chain planning and logistics firm, has secured $15 million in a Series B investment round headed by GEF Capital’s South Asia Fund.
How will the funds be used by 3SC?
According to the startup’s announcement, the money will be used to scale up its domestic company and expand its geographical reach across Europe and Southeast Asia. The funds will also be utilized to improve 3SC’s existing software-as-a-service (SaaS) and analytics-as-a-service (AaaS)-based SCM products through organic and inorganic routes. This round of investment comes years after the firm received angel money in 2013-14.
“This investment round is a tribute to our team’s tremendous efforts in assisting our clients in driving savings. We are positioned to grow 2-3X in the next few years, thanks to significant industry tailwinds toward digitalization and our capitalized financial sheet. We will continue to invest in developing people and technology in order to sustain this exponential growth,” said Lalit Das, Founder, and CEO of 3SC, in a statement.
3SC is an integrated supply chain service provider founded in 2012 by Lalit and Sarita Das. It provides supply chain analytics solutions to organizations in a variety of industries, including pharma, healthcare, industrials, FMCD, FMCG, and e-commerce.

3SC oversees warehousing and transportation as part of its integrated logistics solutions for its customers. This topic also includes supplier management and reverse logistics. Even order management centers must be multi-efficient in today’s world. 3SC ensures that its centers can handle warehouse management, inventory management, PO management, and other value-added operations.
A single incorrect move or placement can ruin the whole supply chain. 3SC meets these problems straight on by optimizing routes and equipment, as well as controlling inbound and outgoing commodities flow.
3SC provides a comprehensive system to execute secondary transportation, conduct milk runs, and carry out route optimization to reduce delays in order to overcome the obstacles of supply chain management. It also provides real-time updates to ensure end-to-end visibility.
Raj Pai, the Managing Partner at GEF Capital Partners, commented on the investment, saying, “With the start of COVID, the global SCM sector is ready for modernization, and 3SC is uniquely positioned as an end-to-end execution plus analytics service provider appropriate for customers of every scale and size.” 3SC’s smart logistics solutions are also critical in decarbonizing the transportation sector, which accounts for more than a quarter of all energy-related GHG emissions. We are really delighted to join 3SC on their mission to create long-term value.”
