Stripes led the deal, including Global Founders Capital, Formic Ventures, and Mark Mastrov, creator of 24-Hour Fitness. Aviron intends to utilize the funds to grow its personnel and content catalog. Along with the money, Aviron hired Amy Curry-Staschke as chief operating officer.
Aviron’s linked competent rowers have integrated touchscreens with various games designed to be played while training.
